This position will focus on the growth and development of new Commercial Fuels business in the tank wagon and wholesale business channels. This position will be customer facing and primarily in the field. The role will be 80% in the field and need to be able to focus with limited supervision. The role will primarily be a hunter role with the expectations that business acquired will be managed for the term of 1 year before moving business to inside sales.

Essential Functions

• Grow the Commercial Fuels Business in the targeted markets of Reidsville, Stuart, and the High Point Triad
• Support Existing Commercial Fuels business.
• Cross Sell with current lubricants customer base that is not purchasing fuel from HRE.
• Provide Warm leads to lubricants sales from customer base
• Build strong relationships between Hutchens Rentz-Eden and new and existing customers.
• Maintain up to date CRM-Checkpoint with customer pipeline and contacts
• Manage multiple projects at once, be versatile, and able to transition quickly on the fly
• Make regular cold calls of 20 a week
• Strong business acumen to evaluate deals and business opportunities quickly.
• Function collaboratively with inside and outside sales for the total betterment of the company.

Supervisory Responsibility

The Commerical Fuels Business Development Manager role has no supervisory responsibilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
