The Superintendent plays a key management role in the organization and implementation of the projects from start to finish in the field. The ideal candidate should always be prepared, organized, and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly while not being afraid to ask for help when needed. The Superintendent has full responsibility for the onsite production of a project or multiple projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee construction activities from start to finish, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all activities are sequenced and coordinated
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project success
  • Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Ensure the safety of all workers on the job site, providing a safe work environment at all times
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes and regulations
  • Manage and oversee the work of subcontractors, ensuring that all work is completed to the required standard
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and that projects are delivered within budget
  • Provide regular progress reports to clients and other stakeholders
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork, building effective working relationships with all members of the project team

Qualifications: 

  • 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field
  • High School diploma or GED required. Bachelors degree is a plus!
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations
  • Ability to read, understand, and explain construction blueprints and floorplans.
  • Possess expertise in standard commercial construction practices.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction for demanding clients.
  • Deep knowledge of industry safety practices.
  • Excellent computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software. Bluebeam experience is a plus. Were looking for a tech-savvy person!
  • Professionalism in manner and attire.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Strong leadership and project management skills 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Resourcefulness and ability to work well under pressure

Salary and Benefits:

  • Starting salary at $100,000- $120,000 per year bonuses (up to $25,000 in bonuses)
