The University Archivist supports the educational mission of the University by developing and maintaining general and Huston-Tillotson University historical archival born-digital and print resources to meet the needs of students, faculty, staff, and other constituencies. The Archivist is responsible for providing reference for the Archives. The Archivist will work with the respective departments of the Downs-Jones Library and independently to provide access to and enhance the discovery of archival and born-digital collections. The person in this position will stimulate student, faculty, and staff teaching, research, and learning through the use of the Archives and Special Collections.
This position reports to the Director of Library and Media Services.
