As the Service Biller, you will support the commercial refrigeration industry. You will oversee service financial and operational tasks including documentation, material requisition, job costing, status monitoring, invoicing, and administrative closeout of service activities. You will closely work with the area service manager and assigned service staff to ensure the timely and accurate completion of tasks. You will report to the Service/ Contracting Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced billing functions and invoicing for refrigeration and HVAC/R service department
• Create invoices for internal and customer applications and for individually-assigned accounts
• Prepare and print customer invoices by entering labor/material into AS400 system
• Research database for parts/pricing to insure proper control over inventory in stocking locations
• Complete associated job account reconciliations
• Investigate and resolve invoice disputes
• Receive and reconcile purchase orders
• Coordinate payroll activities; ensure technicians post hours daily
• Complete general administrative functions to support service processes
• Perform dispatching duties as backup to main dispatcher
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles; experience with accounts receivable
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel software application
• Working knowledge of commercial refrigeration/HVAC and service agreements preferred
• Ability to successfully manage multiple/competing priorities and tasks in a fast-paced work environment
• Flexibility to work outside normal hours
• High level of professionalism and diplomacy
• Capacity to make decisions, learn quickly, think rationally, and exercise good judgment
• Work effectively in diverse team environment
