Job Description

Huron Towers is a large apartment complex housing nearly 600 residents in two 12 story towers on the Huron River. The Maintenance Technician must be able to successfully assist the other maintenance staff in performing various maintenance functions which are necessary to maintain and enhance the community. This specific position is for an experienced technician that is capable of working in all maintenance related areas, be a team player, but also working on their own. The technician ensures that all maintenance issues are handled promptly and completed in a timely manner, following our high standards. You must thrive in a team-oriented, fast passed environment, have an upbeat positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.

Job Functions:

* Performing all maintenance related duties as tasked.

*Turnover and prepare units for move in/ move out.

* Respond to work order requests both during business hours and after hours.

* Provide excellent customer service to both current and prospective residents to promote a quality living experience for all residents.

* Assist with developing and implement a preventative maintenance program.

* Assist the Maintenance Supervisor and Porter/ Grounds keeper with the daily ground duties.

Experience and Requirements:

* Previous experience in residential maintenance is a MUST, other plumbing, electrical, HVAC or other related experiences preferred.

* Must have strong verbal, written communication skills along with a "customer service" attitude.

* Must have basic knowledge of the usage of power tools.

Additional Requirements:

* Must have a valid Driver’s License

* Must be reachable via phone or email

* Must be able to work evenings and weekend hours and be available for on call status.

* Background check required.

• Ann Arbor, MI 48105: Relocate before starting work (Required)
