Huntsville Hospital Health System is Hiring a Transport Aide - Outpatient Surgery - FT - 1st Shift Near Fort Payne, AL

Overview

Provides patient transport to and from and/or between nursing units and ancillary departments. Provides support to the clinical staff by maintaining linens, wheelchair access, and performs light housekeeping duties.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or GED is preferred but not required. A minimum of Heart Saver CPR is required within 6 months of hire, with Healthcare Provider BCLS preferred.Experience: At least one year of customer service experience is preferred.Additional Skills/Abilities:1. Ability to communicate in English with people from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.2. Ability to use effective interpersonal relation skills when working with a variety of people and situations.3. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adjust to continuing changes in the daily work schedule.4. Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.5. Willingness to work with clinical personnel and other team members to foster a productive work environment.6. Must be able to display positive attitude, cheerfulness, and the willingness to assist when communicating with the public.
