Job Description: Wheelchair Attendant
Responsibilities:
- Assist passengers with mobility challenges in navigating the airport and boarding or disembarking from aircrafts
- Safely transport passengers in wheelchairs to and from designated areas within the airport
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger needs and ensuring their comfort throughout the journey
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of passengers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of wheelchairs and related equipment
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with passengers of diverse backgrounds
- Physical stamina and strength to push, pull, and maneuver wheelchairs for extended periods of time
- Compassionate and patient demeanor to provide support and assistance to passengers with mobility challenges
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of airport operations and procedures is a plus
