Huntington Learning Center is Hiring a Tutor (PT) Near Huntersville, NC

About the Job:
Teachers at Huntington Learning Center love what they do…why?

  • You do not have to market your services to find and enroll students.
We do that for you!
  •  You do not have to write curricula or plan lessons.
We do that for you!
  •  You do not have to meet with parents to discuss students’ progress.
We do that for you!
  • You do not have to keep track of students’ number of completed lessons and their progress.
We do that for you!
  • K-12 Reading, Writing and Math.
  • SAT and/or ACT Math Tutors.
  • SAT and/or ACT Reading and Writing Tutors.
Hours: (Work a minimum of 10 hours a week)
  • Monday-Friday 2-8 PM.
  • Saturday 9 AM-1 PM.
Job Description:
  • We need tutors to work one-on-one with students. Students range from K-12 and work on math and reading. We also have SAT and ACT students that need help with math and reading.
What is Huntington Learning Center?
  • We are professional educators offering remedial and enrichment instruction in phonics, reading, study skills, writing, math, language arts, and related areas. 
  • We also prepare students for standardized exams, such as the SAT and ACT exams. 
  • As a tutor, the lesson plans are provided for you, grading is quick and on-site and you do not have to have meetings with parents.

About Huntington Learning Center:
We provide supplemental education (tutoring, mostly after school and on weekends) for students needing extra help in reading, writing, language arts, phonics, math, test-taking, and SAT/ACT prep. Our approach is to provide individualized instruction to our students and to work with them along a prescribed curricular path to success.
