Huntington Learning Center is Hiring a Math Tutor - School / Day Hours Near Columbus, OH
URGENT HIRING.
We are looking for dynamic tutors to teach small group, High School level math (algebra I, II, Geometry) IN PERSON at local area schools during the school day. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.
POSITION DETAILS:
We are looking for dynamic tutors to teach small group, High School level math (algebra I, II, Geometry) IN PERSON at local area schools during the school day. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.
POSITION DETAILS:
- Part-Time: 10-20 hours a week, Monday-Friday, hours and days may vary.
- Location: Columbus area schools.
- High School-aged students, MATH.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred.
- Valid teaching certificate preferred but not required.
COMPENSATION:
- With Bachelors Degree: From $25.00 per hour
- With valid Teaching Certification: From $28.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize Huntington Learning Center’s instructional procedures and curriculum
- Work with the Lead Teacher and Program Director to implement instructional programs
- Follow school policies and procedures; supervise students at all times
- Maintain student records of attendance and progress
- Administer computerized baseline tests at established intervals
Other Requirements:
- Adhere to Huntington Learning Center’s mission statement that Every Child Can Learn
- Possess basic computer operating knowledge
- Clear background checks and employment eligibility
