You can help children realize their educational potential by becoming a part-time Learning Center Program Coordinator at the North Dallas location, located at the intersection of Preston and Forest. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: * Monitor center activity during active tutoring hours * Work closely with students: administer academic evaluations and assist new students * Assist full-time staff in monitoring student progress and program outcomes * Front desk duties: greeting families, answering and directing calls, coordinating office activities REQUIREMENTS: * Associate's degree (bachelor's degree preferred) * Ability to work 20-25 hours per week (priority times being after school, evenings, and one weekend day) with opportunity to work more hours as needed * Excellent communication and listening skills with both adults and children * Familiarity with computers and experience with Microsoft Office and Internet applications * Patience, enthusiasm, willingness to work with children on several academic levels * Reliable transportation * Prior teaching experience is a plus.
