Our Lincoln Park Center is looking for dedicated PART-TIME Tutors for Math(Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Pre-calculus, Calculus, and ACT\SAT Prep)
Job Description:
- Flexible and convenient schedules.
- Primarily after-school and weekend hours.
- Convenience and safety of tutoring in a center tutoring instead of in-home.
- Focus on teaching students without the requirement for lesson plan creation, grading papers, or conferences.
- Great environment for current teachers, recent graduates, and retired teachers.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in education or related field (Engineering, Law, Sciences, English).
- Ability to score in the 90th percentile or above on at least one section of the ACT or SAT(Test needs to be taken)
- State teaching credentials preferred.
- Excellent student interaction skills in 1-1 settings.
- Available to work 2-3 days per week (Min-10 HRs per wk), including weekends.
- Must be a caring and qualified professional committed to the success of students.
