is looking for dedicated PART-TIME Tutors for Math(Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Pre-calculus, Calculus, and ACT\SAT Prep)

Huntington Learning Center in Lincoln Park is looking for dedicated PART-TIME TEACHERS for the ACT and SAT Prep. We are looking for qualified candidates with degrees in English, Math, Chemistry, Biology and related sciences for ACT/SAT and subject tutoring.
WE OFFER:

  • Primarily after-school and weekend hours.
  • Convenience and safety of tutoring in a center tutoring instead of in-home.
  • Focus on teaching students without the requirement for lesson plan creation, grading papers, or conferences.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in education or related field (Engineering, Law, Sciences, English).
  • Ability to score in the 90th percentile or above on at least one section of the ACT or SAT(Test needs to be taken)
  • State teaching credentials preferred.
  • Excellent student interaction skills in 1-1 settings.
  • Available to work 2-3 days per week (Min-10 HRs per wk), including weekends.
  • Must be a caring and qualified professional committed to the success of students.
Pay - $17\hr.
