Huntersville ARP Church is Hiring a Child Care Worker Near Huntersville, NC

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing envrionment for children in our care. Your role will involve supervising and engaging with children, implementing age-appropriate activities, and ensuring their well-being.

We utilize a nursery (for infants) and a toddler room which will be provided for the following as needed:

  • Sunday School & Sunday Worship (3 hours approximately)
  • Wednesday Evenings (1 hour approximately)
  • Special Events

Duties:
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to children in our facility
- Create and maintain a safe and clean environment for children
- Assist with diaper changes, potty training, and maintaining proper hygiene
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's needs and any concerns that may arise
- Collaborate with other childcare providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a nannying, classroom, or caregiving setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with infant care techniques and safety protocols
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- First Aid/CPR certification is preferred but not required

Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience working with students in a preschool or early childhood education setting
- Classroom management skills to maintain discipline and order among children

We offer competitive pay rates based on experience ($18-20 per hour)
