We are looking for a proven Assistant Maintenance Supervisor for our Lansing properties.

Job Summary:

As an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor, you will ensure that the physical aspect and general maintenance of the property meets company standards and applicable laws. Our Assistant Maintenance Supervisors diagnose problems and make repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance. As well as maintain a maintenance staff.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Maintain cleanliness on the premises
• Completing resident work orders
• Perform plumbing/mechanical/electrical repairs
• Wall/Drywall repair
• Install flooring, cabinetry, tub and surrounds as needed
• Prepare vacant units for leasing
• Grounds keeping
• Remove snow and spread salt on walkways and porches
• Manage Vendor relationships and contracts

All applicants must have their own basic tools, reliable transportation and availability to respond immediately to emergency "on call" repairs when on call. Must be a "TEAM player", have the ability to work diligently and complete projects on time and without direct supervision. Must also have strong interpersonal skills. Be friendly, courteous, and comfortable dealing with difficult situations and personalities. Only applicants with maintenance experience will be considered.
