Position Overview

Responsible for design, procurement, and implementation of Cybersecurity capabilities within the Hunter Douglas Cybersecurity program.

What you'll do

An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. (These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.)

• Develop requirements for vendor selection for new and replacement technologies within the Information Security footprint.
• Partner with procurement, legal, and compliance teams on behalf of Cybersecurity to ensure timely acquisition of Cybersecurity tools and effective financial management of the Cybersecurity budget.
• Build and align processes and procedures as well as network and system standards to the company’s IT security policies.
• Monitor the on-boarding of technology related projects to make sure that they align with the company’s security policies, guidelines and ISP process.
• The candidate will need to work with all parties to include project sponsors, vendors and IT operations groups.
• Partners with the rest of the IT organization to ensure effective implementation and ongoing management of security tools, systems and processes including: logging, IDS, IPS, endpoint protection, web filtering, MDM, DLP, patch management, vulnerability scanning technologies, etc.
• Partner with the infrastructure team to develop strong security posturing including reviewing firewall policies and propose changes such as additional network segmentation and filtering policies to better protect the network.
• Interfaces with management and user community to understand business needs, implement security best practices, and identify opportunities for improving security and compliance.
• Partners with the training and professional development staff to promote security awareness among the user community.
• Review and develop the company’s overall security program and manage multiple security projects in a given period.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Position requires regular and predictable attendance.

Who you are

An employee in this position, upon appointment, should have the equivalent of the following:

• CISSP, SSCP or GSEC Security Certification required.
• Expert knowledge of security best practices (encryption, data protection, design, privilege access, etc.).
• Expert knowledge and experience with managing and implementing standard security technologies (DLP, MDM, SIEM, AV, IDS).
• Expert knowledge in compliance management and certification (PCI, GDPR, CCPA).
• Solid knowledge of networks technologies (protocols, design concepts, access control). Expert knowledge to demonstrateexcellent written and verbal communications.
• Expert knowledge and proficiency in planning, reporting, establishing goals and objectives, standards, priorities and schedules.
• Acceptable Training and Experience includes Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Information Security Architect
