Farm Store and Administrative Team Member
Standard working hours are from 9:00 to 5:00 Monday through Friday. Special events may cause changes to this schedule as needed.
Farmstore Tasks
- Request inventory and maintain freezer stock
- Update Square as needed to reflect pricing and product changes
- Order stock for store from additional vendors
- Complete daily checklists for store tasks
- Maintain cleanliness of store
- Assist customers with purchases
- Handle incoming phone calls and communicate messages promptly to other staff as needed
- Under limited supervision, performs various, office support, and customer service-related tasks including assisting customers with their purchases
- Print and record all incoming orders from website
- Contact customers regarding orders when needed
- Update Website and Market 2 Go as needed to reflect pricing and product changes
- Handle all shipments and shipping issues
- Order additional shipping supplies when necessary
Inventory Responsibilities and Tasks
· Maintain and update inventory records
· Request frozen inventory from processing twice weekly
· Perform physical inventory as needed
· Adjust records when there are discrepancies between actual product and records
· Ensure corrective measures to prevent discrepancies
· Manage inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels
· Evaluate deliveries, shipments, and product levels to improve inventory control procedures
· Analyze product levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages
· Report on inventory levels, supply chain progress
Farmer’s Markets
- Coordinate staffing for farmer’s markets and off-site events
- Communicate with farmer’s market workers on their needs for the week
- Request inventory and pack for markets and events
- Complete inventory forms and maintain sales database
- Update Square as needed to reflect pricing and product changes
Marketing Responsibilities and Tasks
· Build and maintain working files on Dropbox
· Edit and maintain images in Canva
· Manage and prioritize a high volume of projects
- Assist with updating, and management of company websites
- Research and acquire promotional items and merchandise for company marketing
- Maintain and create Constant Contact e-mails.
- Enter new e-mail addresses into Constant Contact
- Create posts and content for multiple social media platforms
Minimum Requirements
· Excellent problem-solving, time-management and communication skills
· Ability to multitask - manage multiple projects, customers, and timelines.
- Ability to work with others closely
- Must have high attention to detail
- Excellent editing and spelling skills
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to work in a busy office area with frequent interruptions
- Analytical and critical thinking skills
- Good problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
