Coordinated Care Health Solutions, LLC, is a specialized laboratory with state-of-the-art equipment designed to meet the needs of patient healthcare and compliance with medication management. Routine blood and urine testing provides documentation to evaluate both physical health and compliance with a prescribed drug regimen. We are a dynamic and growing laboratory and offer a superb culture in which to work.
Position Summary:
* Perform technical laboratory functions including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, immunology, and Microbiology.
* Report test results following clinic protocols alerting providers and/or nurses about abnormal results.
* Ensure quality control in collecting specimens, ensure appropriate sampling and maintain accurate record keeping.
* Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies. Set up, maintain, calibrate, clean, and test sterility of medical laboratory equipment.
* Comply with all laboratory policies and OSHA regulations.
Essential Job Duties Include:
* Knowledge of medical laboratory principles, standards, applications and tests, familiar with CLIA, and OSHA standards.
* Knowledge of medical laboratory safety, cleanliness and infection control policies and regulations. Knowledge of medical laboratory equipment uses and maintenance.
* Accuracy – Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
* Confidentiality – Maintain patient, team member and employer confidentiality. Comply with all HIPAA regulations.
* Detail Oriented – Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
Education/Qualifications
Working Conditions:
Work in a well-lit, ventilated and air-conditioned facility. Prolonged sitting and standing. Position may require stooping, kneeling, crouching reaching, handling or use of tactile information. Requires motor coordination, manual dexterity, finger dexterity, hand-eye-foot coordination and may include lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
Certification and Licensure:
* MLT, (ASCP) certification preferred
