Hunter Automotive Group is currently seeking a qualified Finance Director to be a part of our amazing team at our NEW state-of-the-art facilities located in the beautiful mountains of WNC. This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced professional who is excited by automotive F&I with a strong focus on compliance requirements and product knowledge. As a Finance Director, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our business and in the lives of our customers every day. We are looking for strong, energetic, experienced F&I Managers who will help us redefine the car-buying experience.

Job Summary:

Primary responsibility is to manage the financial transactions of the vehicle buying experience for each customer of the dealership. 

F&I Department Leadership:

Lead and manage the finance and insurance department, providing guidance and mentorship to team members. Foster a high-performance culture that emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and customer satisfaction.

Customer Relations:

 Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing transparent and professional financial advice. Address customer concerns and inquiries related to financing options and F&I products.

Compliance: 

Stay abreast of industry regulations and legal requirements related to automotive financing. Ensure the dealership's practices align with all applicable laws and ethical standards.

Training and Development: 

Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for finance team members to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and customer service capabilities.

Budget Management: 

Collaborate with senior management to establish and manage budgets for the finance department. Monitor and control expenses to ensure financial targets are met.

Product Offerings: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to enhance product offerings and drive F&I product penetration. Evaluate and introduce new finance and insurance products to meet customer needs and maximize revenue.

Qualifications:

  • At least three years of automotive finance required
  • Three years automotive or finance sales experience required
  • Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures
  • Professional personal appearance and excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and robust sales skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, strong negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Must possess the ability to close a deal
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
