This position is fully remote! Must be comfortable working on PST business hours.
Position Overview for the Senior Release Analyst:
- Develop, analyze, and oversee application deployment and infrastructure maintenance plans.
- Identify dependencies, mitigate risks, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Supervise progress towards implementation plans and devise backout strategies as needed.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate application and infrastructure changes across pre and production environments using deployment automation tools.
- 5-10 years of experience either managing or supporting applications/platforms/services deployments, infrastructure upgrades and security patching.
- Expertise in Jira, Jenkins, Git, and deployment automation tools (Chef, Rundeck, and CloudBees Pipeline)
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risks, develop detailed work plans and specifications, and run team meetings
- Familiarity with software development life cycle SDLC, both traditional and agile
