Overview: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter/Laborer to join our team. As a Painter/Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various painting and labor tasks to support construction projects. This is a full-time position with competitive pay. Duties: - Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing cracks - Apply paint or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment - Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results - Follow blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate painting and finishing - Assist with general labor tasks such as carrying materials, cleaning work areas, and operating tools and equipment - Perform basic carpentry tasks, including framing and concrete finishing - Conduct basic math calculations for measuring and estimating materials needed - Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements - Assist with construction estimating and cost analysis - Utilize airless paint spraying equipment for large-scale painting projects - Welding and restoration work as needed Requirements: - Proven experience in frame carpentry, construction painting, plastering, or related field - Proficient in basic math calculations for measuring and estimating materials - Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely - Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus - Experience in concrete finishing is desirable - Knowledge of airless paint spraying techniques is preferred - Ability to operate tools and equipment safely and effectively - Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions - Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks Note: All positions at our company are paid positions.
