HunaTek Government Solutions is Hiring a Cloud Solution Architect Near Rosslyn, VA
- Provide subject matter expertise for cloud services, especially Microsoft Azure, but AWS and VMWare technology (for hybrid cloud) too.
- Directly responsible for infrastructure and automation using Azure DevOps for CI/CD
- Working closely with the engineering and operations team in SAFe and Scrum agile processes and fosters DevOps culture.
- Analyze systems performance to identify potential opportunities for improvement in virtualized environments, hardware infrastructure, backup, archive systems, data storage environment, and cloud environment systems and services.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve instance, software, network, and other service-related cloud issues.
- Work with third-party cloud vendors to obtain security assessments and maintain security using continuous monitoring software tools to reduce risk and vulnerabilities to the infrastructure.
- Create and maintain complete technical and operational documentation.
- Identify incidents for review and participates in related Root Cause Analyses for Critical and High Incidents.
- Excellent understanding of system and network architecture in the cloud and able to manage multiple resources in support of EA cloud efforts.
- Demonstrate significant experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and services, IAM roles, scripting in PowerShell and DSC, and Bicep and ARM templates
- In-depth understanding and knowledge of various cloud service models to include IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS and supporting deployment models, including Private, Public, and Hybrid cloud.
- Must possess hands-on technology knowledge and recognized expertise in public and hybrid-cloud tools and technologies covering automated provisioning and configuration management, particularly using Azure DevOps.
- Requires an active Top Secret security clearance
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar technical discipline
- Requires a minimum of 15 years’ experience in system engineering and administration in a large Federal enterprise environment, including 5 years system administration experience in Microsoft Azure cloud, DoS experience preferred.
- Requires Azure Administration Associate certification. Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred.
