Seeking a Project Accountant to join our fast-paced accounting team in Columbia, MD. Our Project Accountants provide full cycle accounting for an assigned portfolio consisting of 15-16 properties. The successful candidate must be highly organized and able to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while meeting department deadlines. Primary responsibilities for each property in assigned portfolio: Produce monthly financial statements
Monthly bank reconciliations
Monthly/quarterly 3rd party reporting
Maintain escrow analyses
Assistance with budgeting, forecasting and variance reporting
Cash management
Produce annual audit packages and respond to audit related requests Accounting background with familiarity in property management and/or volume financial statement preparation highly valued.
