• Responsible for coordinating care for a group of patients for a designated period to achieve clinical and organizational outcomes.

• Provides administrative assistant by screening calls, checking for benefits and inquiring about medical eligibility for care.

• Manages hand-off communication with incoming and outgoing shifts; conduct safety rounds to familiarize self with patients on the unit.

• Participates in psycho-social assessments along with the triage and discharge process.

• Manages the admission process up to the nursing assessment including contraband checks and new patient orientation and the discharge process specific to accurate return of belongings.

• Demonstrates the ability to supervise the therapeutic milieu including de-escalation techniques.

• Required to float within the department, hence has to be cross-trained across the entire behavioral health department.

Must have at least one year working with detox patients having history of alcohol or chemical substance abuse.

Must have CADC Certification, along with CPR and CPI required ( CPI can be attained within 90 days of employment).
