Human Touch Home Healthcare is looking for Part Time Speech Therapists (ST) for Chantilly, VA to assist our Falls Church, VA office.
Speech Therapists provide treatments to improve speech, swallowing, communication, and problem-solving skills. Often applied with other therapies, speech therapy significantly contributes to stabilization and recovery.
Speech Therapist (ST) Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the physical conditions and limitations of the patient.
• Identifies functional speech defects and establishes a plan of care to improve the patient's function.
• Communicates plan of care to referring physicians and other organization professionals.
• Interact and advise the patient and any family members about treatment.
• Recommends communication devices/aids as indicated.
• Identifies patient and family/caregiver needs for other services and refers as appropriate.

Education Required:
Current license as a Speech Therapist (ST) in Virginia.
Master's degree in Speech Therapy.
Experience:
Home health experience is a plus.
Excellent clinical and assessment skills.
