Human Resource Talent Acquisition & Recruitment - UTMB Health Careers is Hiring a Remote Associate Recruiter (Partial Remote) - Human Resource Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience 

Job Summary: 

Provides general support for human resource related to operations in Talent Acquisition. Communicates and provides guidance on Talent Acquisition initiatives, and programs to customers. Conducts daily recruitment activities and metrics reviews. Support the recruitment process with advertising, branding, marketing, social media strategy, sourcing for candidates, interview scheduling, job fair management, data visualization, and process improvement 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • One year or more of healthcare or academic recruitment experience.
  • Experience with Taleo, or other applicant tracking systems.

Job Duties:

  • Create and monitor job postings for department hiring managers.
  • Utilize the knowledge of recruitment tools and ATS to support department needs and conduct recruitment audits as required.
  • Evaluate innovative approaches to job-specific interviews. Develop and revise screening questions for operations areas as needed.
  • Monitor handoff between recruitment and onboarding.
  • Contact applicants to provide and obtain additional information as needed.
  • Provide job search, resume review and revision, counseling, and job fairs for assigned areas.
  • Initiate searches on hard-to-fill positions through networking, use of LinkedIn, Indeed,
  • Organize sourcing points, leads, and professional organization for the candidate pool.
  • Participate in job fairs to be a visible provider of UTMB services.
  • Provide guidance to customers.
  • Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
  • Performs related duties as required. 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Developing HR professionals.
  • Basic knowledge of Human Resources and employment law.
  • Develop partnerships and a general understanding of the customer’s business and current issues.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Develop presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Moderate analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Competent use of personal computers and general office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Demonstrate initiative in developing leadership and supervision skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Salary Range: 

Actual salary commensurate with experience. 

Work Schedule: 

Partial Remote, onsite as needed. Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, and as needed on occasion.
