HumanHire has partnered with a growing banking institution that has been in business for 50 years in search of a Senior Universal Banker for their office in Union City, NJ.
We are seeking candidates with 2-3 years of experience as a Universal Banker.
What we offer:

• Position: Senior Universal Banker
• Location: Union City, NJ
• Salary: $47,000-49,000 per year
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9AM-4PM
• Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, 401K

Responsibilities:

• Identify customer needs to tailor solutions and offer bank products, services, & recommendations
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, mail, and in person, following up as necessary
• Process transactions, wire transfers, & other electronic services, manage cash vault activities, balance cash draws, and open & close branch vaults
• Onboard customers and open new accounts
• Monitor teller cash levels and identify teller discrepancies & daily settlements
• Resolve complex issues relating to customer transactions
• Assist management with reports and monitoring the daily tasks & operations for bankers and tellers
• Reach out to prospective clients & customers to drive business by making calls, visits, and attending events
• Lead, train, and guide tellers, bankers, and customer service reps

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience as a Universal Banker required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus!
• Exceptional written & verbal communication and mathematic skills
• Strong technical skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Clear communicator with interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to lead and coach others
