Experienced Medical Office Assistant's needed to provide Patient Registration support from 3pm-11 : 30pm for expanding medical facility located in Poughkeepsie, NY.

All candidates must be flexible with possible overtime and must be able to work weekend rotations. This is a great opportunity to join one of the leading healthcare organizations in the area!

Job Duties

• Patient registration - gathering and updating patient demographics
• Obtaining Signatures for consent of treatment
• Answering busy phones
• Gathering and verifying insurance information
• Assisting with scheduling appointments

Experience & Skills Required

• Prior medical office support experience in a busy medical environment, health insurance experience or office experience with a degree in Health Administration preferred
• Must have office experience
• Knowledge of various health insurance a plus
• Must be comfortable with MS Office
• Excellent communication skills
• EMR experience a plus
• Must be flexible to work some additional shifts and weekend rotations
