Hulcher Services Inc . the premier leader in train derailment emergency response services for over 40 years, is committed to mobilizing people and equipment within one hour of the initial call to our Customer Response Center. This leading railroad derailment, load-adjust and transfer company is now hiring for: heavy equipment operator.

General Summary: Operators transport, operate and service heavy equipment used in clearing railroad derailments by lifting and moving derailed railway cars and locomotives, and perform similar on environmental remediation sites, industrial locations, load transfers, and rail construction.

Responsibilities:

· Sets up and operates heavy equipment

· Drives tractor-trailer or escort vehicles

· Services and maintains heavy equipment, trucks and trailers

· Carries, handles and detaches/attaches heavy steel chains, blocks and steel cables

Requirements:

· Must possess a CDL A Driver’s License

· Clean driving record required by company driving privileges

· Must be able to respond as an on call 24/7/365 to deliver our emergency services to our clients

· ABILITY to weld a plus!

· Must be able to report to our Washington PA shop located at: 1620 Jefferson Ave, Washington, PA 15301 within 40 minutes of a call.

· Work history operating track hoe, dozer, track loader, etc no bobcats, a plus

· All work is outdoors and physically demanding must be able to lift and carry chain hooks and slings in excess of 75 pounds

· Drug tests and strenuous background tests are a part of our hiring process.
