Mechanical (MEP) EIT

Job Summary: Huitt-Zollars, Inc has full-time opportunity for a Mechanical (MEP) EIT for our Fort Worth office. The successful candidate will have an educational background primarily in Mechanical HVAC, Plumbing Systems or Architectural engineering. Candidates that desire to work in the field of Engineering related to Mechanical Building Systems and Infrastructure will be considered.

Employment Type: 40 FT Hours

Compensation Type: Salary

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE).

 Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform all mechanical building systems and infrastructure engineering duties as directed by the Project Manager

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’ s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
• EIT a plus, but not mandatory
• Minimum 0-4 years Experience
• Passed the fundamental of Engineering Exam
• Works well independently and within a team
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit BIM computer aided design programs
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
• The employee must be able to concentrate on details, work under deadline pressures, apply sound logic and judgment, and prioritize tasks and responsibilities
