Position Goal

To stock The Hughston Surgical Center with necessary supplies on a daily basis. Position Responsibilities

• Stock and supply department’s storeroom areas. Ensure adequate supply amounts on hand.

• Create new areas in the medical management system as needed.

• Complete inventories at least twice a week.

• Provide missing items reports to RN Manager/CFO.

• Restock main storeroom as necessary.

• Receive, verify and deliver products as received by HSC Vendor to include UPS, FedEx, Medline, Hospira, etc.

• Receive delivered items into medical management system.

• Ship returns back to vendor in a timely manner.

• Keep Crash Carts restocked and make appropriate charges.

• Track and report costs to RN Manager.

• Order Supplies as needed.

• Assist vendors with sign-in procedures.

• Provide backup support to Medical Buyer when needed.

Experience: 

Required:

• One (1) year of warehouse/inventory experience

Education: 

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Special Qualifications: 

Required:

• Working knowledge of MS Office Software, specifically Excel.
• Previous MMIS experience
