Hughes Engineering & Consulting is currently hiring an Automation Engineer to support the design, development, and support of Process Automation Systems and/or Building Management Systems for pharmaceutical or bioprocessing facilities.

Automation Engineer Responsibilities: 

• Create and improve automated systems and processes
• Support the installation of automation and controls upgrades
• Document all technical procedures and user guides
• Manage and author as needed internal documents on change control and validation
• Contribute to PI development, configuration and validation
• Assist with SAT (Site Acceptance Testing)
• Research and implement new hardware and controls

You will have:

• Bachelor’s degree (Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical preferred)
• Minimum 4 years of relevant automation/controls experience
• Proficient DeltaV programming experience including equipment modules and phase logics
• High level Batch experience with DeltaV
• GMP Process experience
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
