Hugg and Hall is Hiring an OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE Near Destrehan, LA

Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is looking for someone with strong customer service, communication, and sales skills to join our team as an Outside Sales Representative to specialize in large corporate accounts. We are a full-service equipment company specializing in industrial and construction equipment since 1956 and were recently named one of the Best Places to Work in 2023 by Arkansas Business. ABOUT THE POSITION

Outside Rental Sales Representatives function as part of the Rental Team and are responsible for making sales calls, facilitating short-term rental equipment deals, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

In this role you will:

  • Facilitate Short-Term Rental Equipment Deals by making sales calls in person and via phone, searching various applications for rental equipment.
  • Promote the Company's Resources by answering questions on products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms
  • Enhance the Customer Experience by consulting with them to resolve problems and provide ongoing support
  • Maintain Strong Customer Relations by being in the field and focusing on assigned accounts.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1-3 years sales related experience
  • Minimum 21 years of age with a clean driving record
  • High School Diploma/Equivalent with relevant experience - College Degree preferred
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Ability to present and sell at all customer levels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking to meet customers' needs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills


SKILLS THAT WILL SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS MAY INCLUDE:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to organize and independently manage time
