FirmaPak is hiring a Maintenance Process Technician II as a Full-Time job in Hillsboro, KS.
 
As a Maintenance Technician II, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and optimizing manufacturing equipment and processes. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of machinery, performing advanced maintenance tasks and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments
• Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Develop ability to perform a mold change and run-in a project to start the production run
• Develop processing proficiency in HDPE extrusion blow molding and PET reheat and stretch blow molding.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing background preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings and manuals, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
• Ability to interpret data or findings and make decisions accordingly.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
