Hudsonville Public Schools is Hiring a Transportation Technician Near Hudsonville, MI
Description
- Efficiently schedule and maintain a preventive maintenance program on all vehicles and equipment.
- Diagnose, make repairs, replace parts, perform tune ups, change oil and lubes, brakes, clutches, electrical work, exhaust system, etc.
- Maintain cleanliness of building tools and equipment.
- Wash school vehicles and equipment as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Transportation.
- Prepare for Annual State Police Bus inspection.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge and ability to repair components on all systems, including the ability to operate shop equipment.
- Perform trouble shooting and related repairs on District vehicles.
- Must have or obtain CDL drivers license.
- Must meet or obtain state certification.
- Must be able to diagnose mechanical and structural defects and perform corrective procedures.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
