Regional Nurse

Located throughout Connecticut

A company that owns multiple skilled nursing facilities throughout Connecticut is looking for a strong Regional Nurse.

Responsibilities:

• Consult with facilities on an as needed basis through visits, phone calls, off site record review and response to requests from facility leadership
• Provide consultation during unusual or serious events
• Provide onsite consultation as needed during regulatory surveys and during the plan of correction period
• Consult with facility as needed on topics such as program development, physician recruitment, referral relationships and requirements

Qualifications of the Regional Nurse:

• Must have current Connecticut RN License
• Must have long term care experience
• Prior Regional Nurse experience preferred
• Must have strong clinical background and knowledge
• Proven leadership and management skills
