Do you have 2 years of swim instruction experience and are passionate about teaching others how to swim? Since 2003, Hudson Valley Swim has been teaching swim lessons to all ages and abilities starting at 6 months old through Adults.
We are seeking an experienced, reliable and dedicated member to join our team for a year-round part-time position at the indoor pool within the LA Fitness on Dale Mabry Highway in Lutz, FL.
Requirements:
- Requires at least 2 years of swim instruction experience teaching students of all ages and abilities including infants, toddlers, youth, adults and special needs.
- Requires swim instruction experience teaching small groups.
- Must demonstrate excellent teaching technique, commitment, promptness, responsiveness, organizational, and people skills.
- WSI certification is preferred however we consider swim instruction experience above everything else.
– Participate in training with the head instructor in a co-teaching setting until proficient in our program at which point you will own your own schedule.
- Background Check is required
- Flexible Schedule: Monday to Friday; Day Shift, Night Shift, Weekend availability
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
