Job Title: QC Inspector (CompEx or IECEX Certified) - Electrical/Telecommunication/Instrumentation

Job Description:

Overview: As a QC Inspector with CompEx or ICoEx certification specializing in Electrical, Telecommunication, or Instrumentation, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of electrical, telecommunication, or instrumentation systems in accordance with industry standards and project requirements, particularly within hazardous environments prevalent in sectors such as oil and gas.Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field.
  • SAP / CBT passed with 800 series CompEx (Ex01-Ex04) or IECEx certification for hazardous area installations in the respective specialization (electrical, telecommunication, or instrumentation).
  • Proven experience (typically 10 years) in quality control, inspection, or testing of electrical, telecommunication, or instrumentation systems, preferably within industries such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, or utilities with saudi aramco background.
  • Sound knowledge of international standards and regulations governing electrical, telecommunication, or instrumentation installations in hazardous areas (e.g., ATEX, IECEx, NEC).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001), inspection methodologies, and quality assurance practices.
Other terms & Conditions :
Nationality : Indian
Contract Duration : 1 year - extendable
Work Pattern : 8-9 hrs in a day / 6 days in a week
Salary range pm : Basic AED 6000/- PM Food Allowance AED 750/- PM Standard Allowance AED 1250/- PM HRA AED 2000/- PM - Total package AED 10000/- PM Overtime
Local Transportation : Provided by company
Other benefits : Visa, joining and return Ticket & medical insurance provided by company.
Responsibilities:Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections, functional testing, and electrical measurements on electrical systems, telecommunication equipment, or instrumentation devices to verify compliance with project specifications, relevant standards (e.g., IEC, NEC), and safety regulations.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed inspection reports, test records, and quality documentation, documenting observations, deviations, and corrective actions taken. Maintain accurate records of inspection activities and ensure timely reporting to project management and stakeholders.
Compliance Assurance: Ensure that electrical, telecommunication, or instrumentation systems adhere to CompEx or ICEx certification standards for hazardous area installations. Verify compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and client-specific quality standards.
Coordination and Communication: Collaborate closely with project engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to address quality-related issues, resolve discrepancies, and implement corrective measures. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to align on quality objectives and compliance expectations.
Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification: Perform risk assessments and hazard identification exercises to assess the safety and integrity of electrical, telecommunication, or instrumentation systems within hazardous environments. Propose preventive measures and risk mitigation strategies to enhance safety and minimize operational risks.
Training and Development: Stay abreast of the latest developments in electrical, telecommunication, or instrumentation standards, regulations, and certification requirements. Provide training and guidance to project personnel on quality control procedures, safety protocols, and compliance criteria.
