The Field Project Manager will manage residential and commercial meter exchange projects for utility companies throughout the nation, focusing on independently collaborating with the client's project team and managing/executing contracts. This role will also lead all other aspects of assigned projects, including scope, budgets, installations, warehousing, safety and training, etc.
* Act as the primary liaison with client; define, manage, and prioritize scope and schedule
* Ensure timely and on-budget execution of projects with high customer satisfaction levels
* Manage the project team and subcontractor schedules, cost, and quality
* Author change orders, SOWs, status reports, and other project documentation, as applicable
* Perform issue management and address/resolve customer concerns
* Bachelor's degree OR associate degree combined with formal Project Management training. This education requirement must be in combination with the below professional requirements.
* At least 4 years of project management experience in the utility industry with a consistent customer-facing responsibility
* Experience working in a highly independent environment
* Experience presenting on-site with internal and external field resources and clients
* Strong knowledge of and solid ability to utilize Microsoft Excel (intermediate to expert level) and other Microsoft Office products (Word, MS Project, Power Point, Outlook, and Visio)
* Ability to travel nationally and abroad, according to assignment(s)
Preferred:
* Experience leading (electric, gas, water) utility projects with both in-house and subcontracted employees
Physical Demand:
* Frequent standing, sitting, typing, speaking, walking, reaching, crouching, bending, and kneeling.
* Moderate to extensive travel
Compensation Range:
$98,100.00 - $147,000.00
