The Warehouse Inventory Clerk is responsible for performing the clerical inventory duties. This candidate will respond to emails and voicemails concerning orders, issue resolution, shipment tracking, routing questions and customer requests in a timely manner. She/he must have excellent organizational skills handling files, time management and the ability to meet deadlines.Description for Internal Candidates

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming customer calls and provide detailed information
• Participate in afternoon check-in of delivery teams
• Audit inventory parts for delivery teams
• Data entry on shipment tracking
• Provide support for tracking shipments and communication progress
• Maintain files in order and as outlined in the operations procedures and policy manual
• Consistently monitor e-mail requests and provide detailed information in a timely fashion
• Regular and dependable attendance
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to perform general administrative duties; file, perform data entry, photocopies, etc.
• Ability to handle heavy workload and work well under pressure
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Must be able to pass basic hazardous materials training

Skills:

• The ideal candidate will possess a “can do” attitude with a “will do” work ethic
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with AS400 operating systems is a plus
• Transportation industry knowledge and experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
