Motor Shop in Quakertown, PA is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator.
Monday through Friday
8am-5pm.
Pay $20 BOE
- To inquire and get Part lists and parts breakdown assemblies from industrial equipment manufactures using the internet, email and phone calls.
- Getting price and availability of parts.
- Evaluating the disassembled equipment in our repair shop to identify the parts that the mechanics need.
- Reaching out to the appropriate suppliers of these parts to get price and delivery.
- Entering parts into orders and generating purchase orders and submitting them.
- Checking on past due parts orders.
- Other repair shop support needs including but not limited to contacting customers, suppliers, salesman, technicians and communicate appropriate information.
- Would need to follow existing SOPs and assist in developing new and improving with office efficiency.
Ideal candidate would have experience in an industrial repair of manufacturing maintenance shop or parts room. Be familiar with basic industrial machine components like electric motors, pumps, blowers and fans, enclosed speed reducers (gear boxes), bearings, v-belts and sheave, and other similar industrial parts.
