HTI is Hiring a Production Technician Near Piedmont, SC

HTI is hiring a Production Technician for our client in Piedmont, SC! They are an automotive manufacturer with several locations that are located here in the Southeast! The Production Technian will be on 2nd shift and this position is Direct Hire!

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 2-3 years within a manufacturing environment, preferably with an understanding of basic troubleshooting of production equipment and machinery.
  • Experience working with CNC machinery and / or Assembly preferred.
  • Experience overseeing basic maintenance and preventative maintenance of a line preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues with machinery. What Your Role Will Look Like :

The Production Technician will oversee production operations from a troubleshooting and mechanical standpoint. The Production Technician will be the first line of defense when a machine goes down and before maintenance is called.

The Production Technician will also handle the verification of shipments for parts and components needed for machinery in the assigned areas.

  • Drive and lead team in 5S
  • Relieve Team Lead as needed
  • Perform preventative maintenance as required by the schedule
  • Troubleshoot short stops and perform required quality checks
  • Operate and maintain various equipment at an acceptable level with emphasis on quality, IATF 16949 standard, safety / environmental, 5S and productivity
  • Operate and maintain automated and semi-automated equipment in a high-volume production environment
  • Able to communicate and perform in a fast paced, team environment with a positive outlook in communication and conduct with others
  • Adherence to all company policies and procedures
