HTI is seeking a results-oriented Production Supervisor for an Industrial manufacturer in South Carolina. What You Need :
- Degree in manufacturing or Industrial engineer is a plus
- 5 years of experience in supervisory or team lead role
- IATF 16949 / AS 9100 understanding is a plus
- Ability to evaluate and assess talent skills and align those strengths where needed.
- ERP System experience
What Your Role Will Look Like :
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing specific areas of production as well as being involved in continuous improvement and management of personnel to meet company production goals.
- Accountability for safety culture and adherence to polices on shift.
- Employee disciplinary actions and counseling sessions
- Supervise production while assessing process capability, process capacity, production costs and personnel skills.
- Production Management / Supervision
- Process flow, scrap rates, quality indices, and delivery
- Product performance
- Maintain adherence to production schedule, product quality procedures.
- Maintain IATF16949 standards using Control Plans, FMEAs and operating policies.
- Participate in continuous improvement plans to increase production efficiencies. Initiate and implement corrective actions for tooling or equipment deficiencies.
- Complete Preventive Maintenance procedures maintaining equipment cleanliness and production readiness.
- Monitor for and communicate inventory levels and WIP.
- Complete all shift reports / summaries before end of shift including test analysis, inspection data and shift runoffs.
- Participate in performance reviews by initiating input from peers and team members. Issue warnings for attendance, disciplinary actions, and quality problems.
- Perform any and all duties as directed by Production Manager to achieve maximum plant performance including process flow, scrap rates, quality standards and delivery goals.
