HTI is hiring Mechatronics Repair Technicians for IFA Rotorion in Summerville, SC. These are Direct Hire positions on 2nd and 3rd Shift .

Shifts available :

2nd Shift hours - 2 : 30pm - 10 : 40pm

3rd Shift hours - 10 : 30pm - 6 : 40am

Hourly Pay Rate :

Depends on experience, and the range is between $35.25 - $38.25 per hour

$34.00 - $37.00 hour base pay rate plus a $1.25 / hour shift differential)

Job Duties :

• General responsibility for the maintenance and repair of complex production machinery and equipment. Includes diagnosis, troubleshooting, breakdown, preventative and predictive measures.
• Complete repairs on mechanical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems / components.
• Diagnose and correct problems with PLC and CNC (Siemens) controlled machinery.
• Maintain and repair a variety of production processes that include welding, balancing and assembly machines.
• Work in coordination with representatives from various machine builders and colleagues from Germany.
• Interpret and understand machine drawings and schematics.
• Assist in development of Preventative Maintenance plans.
• Assist in management of spare parts inventories.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance tasks as required.
• Follow strict Safety procedures including LOTO .
• Use various measurement equipment in connection with job duties.

Requirements :

• Must have HS Diploma or GED
• Associate’s degree or Technical diploma in Mechatronics is preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Certified as a licensed or journeyman machine repairman
• Experience with PLC and CNC (Siemens) controlled machinery strongly preferred
• Ability to interpret and understand machine drawings and schematics
