Job Description:
Product Design Specialist
This includes, but is not limited to, designing UI and graphic layouts, new and innovative products around user generated content (UGC), and creating more traditional digital content using photos captured by photographers.
A portfolio highlighting 3 years of industry experience operating as an end-to-end diverse visual designer, specializing in graphic design, typography, layout, and composition. Proficient in use of the Adobe Creative suite of tools. In particular, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator.
To bring these products to life, you will need a background in visual design, a strong understanding of graphic layout and composition, as well as a proficient understanding of photography/videography principles, and an awareness of consumer trends and in the areas of Uand social media.
You will work in a matrix organization, partnering with multiple partners including executive leaders, product development, technology, project management, vendors, branding, merchandise, marketing, business intelligence, and more to present a cohesive, impactful assortment of high-quality customer-centric products.
Establish and champion the creative vision, design principles, of photo and video products, with a primary focus on visual design, and graphic layout and composition.
Creative development of concepts, storyboards, and prototypes.
Use design tools to create storyboards, samples, prototypes, and templates for demonstrations and user testing.
Manage product approvals from concept creation through production, including creative direction, revisions, and reviews.
Work with leadership (Managers, Directors, and VPs) across Technology & Digital and the broader organization to present pitches and other creative for discussion and approval.
Perform user design research, including aggregation and analysis of primary and secondary research data, for consumer and user design acceptance and overall user experience.
Evaluate market and consumer research to design experiences.
Champion the product experience and be committed to creating first-class experiences.
Work with legal counsel and other partners for content clearance and restrictions to ensure compliance with terms of use, copyright, and other legal areas.

Basic Qualifications
BA/BS degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, Interactive Design, Photography, or equivalent work/educational experience.
A portfolio highlighting 3 years of industry experience operating as an end-to-end diverse visual designer, specializing in graphic design, typography, layout, and composition.
Proficient in use of the Adobe Creative suite of tools. In particular, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator.
Experience with user-centered design principles and design thinking practices.
Capable of self-generation of creative ideas and working with restrictions to meet individual project needs.
Design for new technology, pushing innovation across the portfolio.
Cultivate relationships with partners.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous work in photography/videography
A proficiency in Utrends, especially related to social media
Ability to maintain a myriad of systems and tools that help support the Product Design and broader line of business teams.
Passion for emerging technologies that push the boundaries of our limitations and influence new product creation.
