Job Description:

HTC is seeking a highly skilled ICAM Technical Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for consulting and advising on identity, credential, and access management (ICAM) solutions. You will act as the primary advisor and technical resource, collaborating with internal teams to integrate into the customer s existing web applications. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in ICAM technologies, and the ability to effectively liaise between various internal development teams, enterprise architecture, security, and IT leadership.

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical expert/resource for the team and business partners while leading the analysis, design and development of high volume, low latency applications for mission critical systems delivering high-availability and performance to best meet customer needs.
• Independently write well designed, testable, efficient code to support varied and highly complex IT solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to other IT specialists to rapidly develop and deliver stunning solutions that meet changing business needs.
• Perform all necessary discovery and fact finding to fully understand highly complex business problems and opportunities and independently execute all assignments.
• Evaluate options to provide solution buy vs. build recommendations to management.
• Independently analyze and recommend solutions to development and production issues while effectively communicating to the project team, applicable vendors and/or the manager in a timely manner.
• Research and stay abreast of technology trends and IT best practices, with a focus on continuous learning and possible application to the business.
• Regularly act in a project lead capacity and/or represent the department on enterprise-wise project teams.
• Provide direction and assistance to less experienced team members and may oversee or coordinate work efforts as needed.
• Assist management with employee development initiatives, including training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Advisory:
  • Serve as the primary technical advisor to the Web Application Development teams for the integration of Ping Identity solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to internal teams on ICAM best practices and Ping Identity capabilities.
• Review solution, design for:
  • Integration with application, microservices
  • Gateway solutions
  • Integration approach with Ping APIs
  • Recommendations on security changes
  • SSOs
• Review IAM/ICAM current strategy with security and application architects.
• Suggest and guide internal development teams on web application remediation.
• Bring security architect, application developers and Infra team on the same page.
• Security and Compliance:
  • Ensure ICAM solutions comply with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Training and Knowledge Sharing:
  • Serve as advisor to the development teams on IAM industry norms and best practices for coding and integration with Ping Identity platform.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in identity and access management.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues to foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Skills/ Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 12 years of experience in related field.
• Expert knowledge and experience implementing authentication standards and technologies such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JSON Web Token (JWT), SAML, SOO, and MFA in web applications.
• Demonstrated experience in both the Client and Resource server domains of OIDC.
• Demonstrated Web development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, SPAs, and Node
• Proven experience in identity, credential, and access management, with a desired focus on Ping Identity solutions.
• Demonstrated understanding of Identity and Access Management business processes
• Minimum of 6 years of experience leading technical initiatives
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (Java, Python, PowerShell).
• Experience with directory services (LDAP, Active Directory) and API management.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Ping Identity certifications) are a plus.
