HT & T Truck Center is Hiring a Truck Salesperson Near Honolulu, HI

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Salesperson to join our HT&T team. The Salesperson will be responsible for selling heavy to medium duty trucks to our customers, establishing and maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a strong passion for sales.

Responsibilities:
1. Upon request from potential customers, prepares written specifications and price quotations for trucks and equipment.

2. Obtains information from truck manufacturers regarding the availability and price of component options on prospective trucks.

3. Processes truck orders and follows up with manufacturers.

4. Provides information on any equipment to be mounted on trucks.

5. Keeps in contact with manufacturers as to delivery times and keeps customers informed.

6. Keeps Management apprised of general business conditions in the market area, competitive price trends, and unusual circumstances that may influence and/or affect the company’s sales operations.

7. Plans, organizes and schedules sales calls to service existing accounts; develops new accounts through aggressive sales techniques.

8. Maintains industry & product knowledge by attending trade shows, meeting with supplier representatives, and by reviewing literature.

9. Performs necessary engineering required to meet buyers’ specifications.

Qualifications:
1. 3 to 5 years experience in medium and/or heavy truck sales, preferred.

2. Vehicle sales experience a plus.

3. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

4. Knowledge of auto and truck repair helpful.

5. Basic computer knowledge for the operation of department’s engineering sales program.

6. Able to adapt sales presentations to customers’ needs.

7. Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.

8. Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required.

9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $125,000.00 per year
