This position is designed to provide the skills and experiences necessary to eventually be promoted to an operational management role within the company. There are primary three areas of focus for this position quality assurance; specialty sales; and supply chain processes specific duties within these areas are listed below.

• Quality Assurance - Work with collecting, submitting, interpreting and documenting product samples. Work with vendor verification and product compliance documentation and collection. In conjunction with supply chain duties assist in assuring compliance with quality assurance regulations.
• Specialty Sales - Primary contact for raw material sales to domestic based ingredient customers and manufacturers. Support domestic retail sales.
• Supply Chain - Assist in day-to-day operational needs within different areas. Assist in and eventually be responsible for documentation and purchases in coordination with accounting and purchasing. Assist in the creation and processing of manufacturing and productions orders from operations staff. Oversee the small parcel distribution team.
• Assist Director of Operations on special projects or other assignments.

Education/Certification:

• Bachelor’s Degree or greater in: Food Science, Business, Accounting, or related field.

Or

• Post High School Coursework and relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge or experience working with cGMPs and other quality assurance regulations.
• Knowledge or experience working in a supply chain or production role.
• Knowledge or experience in wholesale distribution and sales.
• Bilingual – in either Hmong, Cantonese, or Mandarin.
