HSM is seeking qualified candidates for the Shipping Receiving Plant role at our PTI location in Hickory, NC. This is a 1st shift position (Monday – Friday, 7am – 3:30pm).

Responsibilities

• Reviews loading tallies and stages orders
• Loads and offloads trailers per shipping schedule
• Communicates and works with driver to ensure necessary paperwork is completed
• Assist with cycle counts
• Uses forklifts (both forks and clamps) to transfer product to the designated locations
• Scan items to accurately record product movement within JDE
• Assist with housekeeping throughout the department
• Adheres to company policies and procedures
• Any job duties assigned by manager or lead

Qualifications

• Must have basic math skills
• Must have good communication skills
• Must have excellent safety history
• Must be able to work overtime if necessary
• Must be able to read and write
• Must be computer literate
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
• Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to bend, stoop or climb to reach materials
• Must be capable of operating a forklift
