This position is critical to the clinical research operations and is a key colleague in supporting administrative and regulatory activities to maintain compliance with NCI, NCORP and federal research guidelines.

- Schedule: Full time day shift - 40 hours/week - working Monday to Friday (generally 8am-4:30pm)

- Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining staff and provider training and credentialing files necessary for research
- Assisting with accounts receivable and billing compliance, and maintaining research document repositories
- Demonstrate extreme attention to detail, self-motivation, ability to make decisions independently, manage numerous priorities in a timely and efficient matter

The Research Administrative Specialist provides professional administrative assistant support to multiple leaders, physicians, and/or other designees. The position also provides clerical, and general assistance to facilitate all workflow within assigned departments. Provides oversight, working closely with leadership, processing and maintaining storage of all confidential records/files. Organizes and supports onboarding of applicable colleagues or providers. Processes incoming and outgoing payments with oversight from finance manager/designee. Assists with event management/planning associated with various activities if applicable.
Qualifications:
Education
Associate's degree in business, education, healthcare or a related field is required.
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related discipline preferred.
Experience
3 years clerical/administrative experience required.
1 year healthcare-related experience preferred.
Experience in Microsoft Office preferred. Experience with Medical Terminology preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Human Subject Protection and Good Clinical Practices Training through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) required within 30 days of hire.
Physical Requirements: Administrative
