Nursing Manager WIC

• Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is searching for a seasoned Manager- Nursing, Women and Infants to serve at HSHS St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI. This role is responsible for assists in the management of the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities. Also leads efforts to plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet productivity and quality goals; make business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with organization policies and procedures. Leadership responsibility includes Supervisory authority includes authority to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, recall, promote, discharge, assign, reward, discipline, responsibly direct or adjust grievances and is responsible for creating a culture of excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing as well as 3 years of staff RN experience. Prefer candidates with demonstrated progressive responsibility and experience within area of specialty.

· Fast-paced unit leadership for Women and Infants specialty department within busy Medical Center

· Reports directly to HSHS St. Vincent Executive Director Women & Children’s Services

Minimum Requirements:

Education

• Bachelors-Nursing-Required

Education requirement of a Bachelor’s of Nursing is required after July 1, 2016.

• May consider a candidate who is currently enrolled and a bachelor’s of nursing (BSN) is obtained within 2 years of hire.

Experience

• 3 years staff nurse (RN) is required.
• Demonstrated progressive responsibility is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Licensed in state of practice (RN) is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.84 - $68.76 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
