Responsibilities

HRI Hospital is seeking Full Time and Part Time Mental Health Workers!

As a Mental Health Worker, you will :

• Monitor patient safety on the inpatient psychiatric units
• Assist nursing staff with patient treatment procedures
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
• Assist patients with activities of daily living
• Provide routine patient care as required in a psychiatric environment
• Document and communicate unusual or erratic changes in client behaviors
• Assist with patient groups and activities

Shifts :

Day Shift : 7 : am - 3 : pm

Night Shift : : pm 7 : am

Shift Differentials :

Evening Shift : $1. / Hour

Night Shift : $2. / Hour

Weekend Shift : $1. / Hour

Note : The weekend shift differential is cumulative; Example a weekend evening shift would equate to a $2. cumulative differential)

Qualifications

Requirements

• High School diploma; Bachelor’s Degree in human services field preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Physical Fitness Must be able to lift lbs.
• Must be comfortable working with patient in acute psychiatric distress
